In the 2012 fall, Walsh and The Xtra Factor presenter Caroline Flack buzzed internet after pictures of them in wedding dress as they kissed surfaced online. However, it turned out to be a mock marriage.
During one of the spoofs sequent from The X Factor, then-60-year-old Louis tied the knot with then-32-year-old Caroline, dressed in wedding costumes, at the infamous Little White Chapel in Las Vegas.
The now-late Love Island host wore a white bridal gown with floral embroidery, while the groom (Louis Walsh) donned a black suit with a white shirt.
In the spoof video, Sharon Osbourne, a fellow The X Factor judge, in dismay, made a dramatic entrance to crash the wedding and declared, “he [Louis] loves me.” In response, Flack savagely replied, “he loved you a long time ago.”
After that, an Elvis Presley impersonator officiated Walsh and Falck’s wedding, and they even shared a kiss. The pair then drove off into the sunset, with Osbourne still following them in a car.
Even if it was a mock marriage, the realistic kiss made fans wonder if the two were a couple, but they were good friends instead.
After Caroline’s death (committed suicide) on February 15, 2020, the Westlife manager spoke of his former colleague, “I really liked her, she was great fun and just a pleasure to be around. She spoke her mind and was always up for a laugh.”

Is Louis Walsh Gay? Denied Answering Query On Sexuality
Like many celebrities getting splashed with rumors, Walsh also got one- an allegation of being gay. It was obvious for fans to come up with such bold claims, given his history of no romantic relationships or linkups with females.
In August 2013, during an interview with The Sunday Times, when asked about his sexuality- if he was straight or gay, and about his love life, he denied answering. He said,
“I can’t. Don’t go there. I can’t. I think your private life is your private life.”
Being tight-lipped won’t make him immune to gay rumors, though. But also, practically speaking, even if he is, it won’t make a difference.
Even if Louis doesn’t like to address his sexuality, he did talk about his other gay artists in the past.
In November 2008, during his interview with Belfast Telegraph, Walsh openly admitted that if he knew that the late singer Stephen Gately was gay while creating the Irish boyband Boyzone, he might not have picked him as “it wasn’t cool then to have a gay guy in the band.”
Moreover, in the same interview, Louis added that he didn’t know that Mark Feehily, whom he handpicked for the boyband Westlife, was also gay.
Afterward, addressing prevailing stereotypical thoughts, he said, “I think people are racist and homophobic. They just pretend they’re not. It’s the way we’re brought up.”
Some fans, who are not buying such coincidence, theorize that Walsh, who might be secretly gay, knew about Gately and Feehily’s sexual orientation but kept it hidden.

False Story Of Sexual Assault And Win In Lawsuit
An article titled “Louis probed over ‘sex attack’ on man in loo’ published by the Sun on June 23, 2011, read that the Irish TV personality assaulted a man sexually in a Dublin night-spot.
As a result, soaring concerns came regarding Louis Walsh’s morality and sexuality.
However, it was a false allegation orchestrated by the online tabloid. As reported, the Sun UK paid €700 to a dance teacher, Leonard Watters, to make false accusations of groping him.
The forged victim alleged that the incident happened after a Westlife concert in April 2011 in the celebrity nightclub Krystle.
In response, Louis sued the online magazine for defamation with false and malicious allegations.
A year later, in July 2012, Leonard Watters saw a jail time of six months for wrongly accusing the Irish music manager, with the case ongoing for conclusion. The case was settled in November 2012, out of the court.
As part of the settlement, Walsh received €500,000 ($647,000 or £404,000) in libel damages and compensation for his legal costs of €180,000 ($233,000).

Girls Aloud singer Kimberley, who uses the last name “Scott” after marrying the Triple 8 member Justin Scott, was born to John and Diane Walsh.
As for Louis, the former judge of Ireland’s Got Talent doesn’t have a kid.
