Born into an athletic family on October 12, 2003, as one of four children, Weaver’s passion for basketball was ripe his age. By the time he attended Mansfield Timberview High School, he had developed incredible gameplay.
As a senior, he led his team to a 36-5 record and the UIL 5A State Championship. He won TABC 5A All-State and All-Region awards and was recognized as the District 8-5A Most Valuable Player and the 5A Region I Regional Tournament Most Valuable Player.
Following high school graduation, Chendall enrolled at the University of Texas, Arlington, and spent his freshman year. At UTA, he played in 32 games and averaged 9.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2 assists per game.
Afterward, he transferred to the University of Texas in his sophomore year and played for the Longhorns. In the 2023-24 season with the Texas Longhorns, he managed only 6.2 points per game from 34 games.
