Who Is Lee Murray Married To Now? Who Is Nicola Murray?
The former MMA fighter Lee Murray’s second wife is Nicola Murray; however, she maintains distance from the media limelight.
According to her interview in Catching Lightning, she and Lee got married when the latter was incarcerated (he is still in prison) in a Morroco for his involvement in the robbery in England.
As reported, the two became friends while Murray competed in the MMA and became closer after the MMA fighter separated from his first wife following his arrest.
Speaking of her chemistry and courtship with her convicted husband, Nicola said,
“The more we spoke, we just naturally fell in love. It just, like, evolved. It just naturally… it just happened.”
In the same interview, she added that her husband always kept a positive attitude despite his situation. She would tell him that his crime was the “stupidest” thing to do, while he would respond that ‘if he didn’t do the robbery, then they wouldn’t be together.’
Even if Nicola admitted that engaging in crime was wrong, she claimed that her beau was not the mastermind of the robbery in real life, unlike how the media & stories interpreted him.
While giving an interview, Murray’s wife covered her face due to privacy reasons but stated that she came forth to uncheck many lies that were floating around about her husband.

Lee Murray stripped of prison privileges After Fathering A Son With Nicola
The English-Moroccan MMA fighter and his current wife, Nicola Murray, welcomed a son, Lorenzo, around January 2010 while he was still incarcerated. He was on a 10-year sentence (later extended to 25 years) in Kenitra prison in Morrocco.
Speaking of his wife and son, Lee said,
“In prison, you get to see what’s important in life. In that time, I had my youngest son Lorenzo, and also got my wife Nicola, and I wouldn’t change them for the world.”
However, the prison officials were furious after they found out that he had fathered a child with a woman (Nicola) whom he was not married to; as they were not spouses, it didn’t abide by the rules.
As a result, they stripped him of his prison luxuries and moved him to a stricter unit.
It was not the first time his actions in prison got him in trouble. Earlier, during a 2009 interview with a martial arts magazine, he boasted about a luxurious life in jail, that he could use mobiles and watch TVs and even “p**nography.”
As a punishment for his remarks, he had to serve in solitary confinement.

Nicola Says She Will Wait For Murray: When Is Lee Murray’s Release Date?
During her interview for the docuseries Catching Lightening, Nicola stated that she would ‘wait every year’ for her husband’s release from prison.
So, when does Murray get out? Lee is expected to be released from jail in 2035.
In the wake of the £53 million robbery in England, Lee fled to Morroco, where he got arrested in June 2006 on the charge of possession of ‘hard drugs.’ In June 2010, after his conviction on the aforementioned robbery charge, the Morroco court sentenced him to 10 years in prison.
Following a failed appeal of his sentence and given a history of his foiled prison break attempt (in 2009), he received an extended sentence of 25 years on November 30, 2010.

Murray Is A One-Time Divorcee: Ex-Wife Siobhan & Daughter
Lee Brahim Murray-Lamrani was in a marital relationship with his school sweetheart-turned-wife, Siobhan Rowlings, for eight years. The two met at Foxfield Primary School, where Rowlings was three years junior to Murray.
After dating for many years, the MMA fighter and his girlfriend (now ex-wife) welcomed a daughter, Lilly Jane, on December 24, 1998. At that time, he was only 21 years old.
The couple married on November 24, 2000, a year after he made his MMA. In his wedding certificate, he addressed himself as a “professional fighter.”
However, after his arrest and imprisonment in 2006 in Morocco for his involvement in the robbery of Securitas depot robbery, their relationship went downhill. Two years later, in 2008, they divorced while Murry was still in prison.
As reported, when Murray ran to Morrocco after the robbery, his wife, Siobhan, went there to see him. So, the police officials followed Siobhan and eventually arrested him in collaboration with Moroccan authorities.

On the other, his daughter, Lilly, who is 25 now, works as a housing officer at The London Landlord (2017- present). She briefly worked at Urban Spaces (as an assistant administrator) and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (as a legal secretary).
She graduated from North Kent College in 2016.
